Andi has come such a long way after being rescued from life on a three foot chain. Her tough past made it difficult to trust new people. To help her assimilate into a normal life she spent time with at Urbain Tails to do some custom one-on-one training. Here are some things you should know abut Andi:
Eager to please, eager to learn - Learning all of the basic training cues was easy for Andi because of her intelligence and motivation to learn. She even learned some fancy tricks like jumping up in the air to touch your hand! She also walks good on a leash, does well in her crate, and will sit and wait patiently at doors, for her leash, and for her meals. Andi wants to be a well behave doggy for her new home!
Proper introductions, please! - Andi can be anxious in new situations and around strangers, therefore requires special introductions that include plenty of her favorite treats. Once you have established her trust she’ll win you over with her affectionate personality. She will even greet you by rubbing around your legs like a cat! Andi absolutely loves puppies and does well with older dogs with proper introductions.
One quirky dog! - She likes to watch TV and it is quite amusing to watch her head tilt curiously when she hears meowing cats or barking dogs. Also, if you’re sitting on the couch with Andi, be careful. If given the chance she will give you a “wet willy”!
Experienced dog owner - Andi will need continued training to keep her skills sharp. In return, she will warm your heart with her playful spirit and zest for life!
If you want more pure love and joy in your life, please consider welcoming Andi into your home!
