Pretty Pointer mix Penny was dumped at a car wash last summer. The workers fed her for months, until she was rescued in January.
Personality: Penny is friendly yet shy, hyper/energetic, obedient, and trainable. Penny likes other dogs, going for walks, children, adults, and car rides. She is initially shy when meeting new people. Penny is not bothered by loud noises, thunderstorms or new places, and she likes water.
Training: Penny is house and crate trained. She is used to a collar and leash. Penny rarely barks, but sometimes howls and jumps on her foster mom, but no one else. Penny has learned the commands sit, down/off, come, and stay. Penny may guard her toys and sometimes be a finicky eater.
Penny is super sweet and loving; however she is a bit shy and nervous when first meeting people. She warms up gradually, and that is when her personality comes out and shines! Penny will thrive in a nurturing home. Spend some time with Penny and find out what makes her so special
